Keeping Up

Well I'm back in Carbondale after what was a crazy weekend in Durango. I love Durango, and everyone there, but it is really nice to be back in the valley. It's a lot more low key here, well for me at least. I can easy disappear and go on really fun, all day long bike rides and maybe only see 1 or 2 people at most. But regardless, with the previous night being my last night there for a while I decided to live it up. Normally I am not much of a drinker while in season, but I had to make an exception. Plus I knew as soon as I got back to the valley I would fall into my normal routine, so why not?

I will not go into details, but cyclists can drink. So needless to say, it was a bit rough getting up early for a 5hr drive back north. Looks like my wheel is not hopeless. I took into the guys at the shop and it sounds better than I originally thought. Thankfully I will be back on the mountain bike this coming weekend for the Chile Challenge in Angel Fire, New Mexico. Can't wait. I love that course, and it's always fun to race on a former World Cup track. Well, I'm out for the night. I need to unpack? Or at least do some laundry and maybe swap out some of the T-shirts before I leave again.
